My 1960's House Restoration Project
Recently I rebuilt an English 1960's council semi. It took appropriately 2 years to complete. Mainly due to me doing most of the work myself (and taking a 6month gap :)

The first task was to take out the old back boiler and replace it with a combi boiler. The old fire place became a feature.

Next was to take out the unwanted walls ( one downstairs & one upstairs )

Then we moved on to the stairs: This involved a lot of sanding and carefull painting : approx 80hours of work. Thanks go out to my dad for the help here and use of his electric sander!

There was a lot more work I did which I havent had chance to put online yet. Hopefully this gives you some ideas if you are tackling the same problem
